Terms of service.

These terms
By requesting a quote, booking a clean, or using simplypolished.co, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date.
Booking and quotes
All quotes are estimates based on the information you share. Final pricing may be adjusted on the first visit if a home is significantly larger or in different condition than described, and we'll always let you know before adjusting anything.
A booking is confirmed once we've agreed on a date and time in writing (by text, email, or our booking flow).
Cancellation
Life happens. We ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled clean may be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the booked service, depending on whether we're able to fill the slot.
If we cancel or reschedule on you for any reason within our control, you won't be charged.
Payment
Payment is due the same day as service completion. We send invoices that allow numerous payment options, so you can pay whichever way works best for you.
Returned payments or chargebacks may incur a fee equal to the bank's charge plus a flat $25 administrative fee.
Access to your home
If you give us a key, code, or alarm code, we'll treat it with care and only share it with team members assigned to your home. You can ask us at any time to remove or rotate access. If you cancel recurring service, we'll return your key (or destroy it, whichever you prefer).
If we can't access the home at the scheduled time and you haven't notified us, the visit may be billed at the full rate.
What we don't do
We don't clean biohazards, human or pet waste outside of normal use, mold remediation, hoarding situations, or anything that requires specialized equipment we don't carry. If your home needs work outside what we offer, we'll tell you and try to recommend someone who can help.
We don't move heavy furniture. We will move small items to reach corners, but we won't lift anything that risks our team's backs or your floors.
Insurance and liability
We are fully bonded and insured. If something is damaged during a clean, please let us know within 24 hours so we can investigate and make it right.
Our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the service that gave rise to the claim, except where the law says otherwise. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items that weren't disclosed as fragile.
Pets
We love them. Please tell us their names, anything unusual about them, and whether they should be confined during the visit. If a pet poses a safety risk to our team and you haven't disclosed it, we may need to leave and bill the full rate.
Satisfaction
If you're not happy with a clean, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and re-clean the affected area at no charge. We can only fix what we hear about — we can't read minds.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute will be resolved in Wayne County, NC.
